Peoria Pride is committed to supporting the not-for-profit organizations who work so tirelessly to support the LGBT community in Central Illinois.

With each paid admission to Peoria Pride 2010, the attendee will be given (1) ticket to place in a donation container for the participating not-for-profit organization of his/her choice. We will also have additional tickets available for sale for those who wish to donate additional money to the organization(s) of their choice. We have chosen the ticket system simply to ensure the security of the money.

After the event, each organization will receive a check for $1.00 per ticket that was placed in their donation box.  In 2009. Peoria Pride raised over $1,300 to area non-profits through this program.

A blank donation container will be provided to any valid 501(c)3 organization wishing to participate. if you wish, you may decorate your box in any way you choose to draw attention to yourself.

There is absolutely NO fee or obligation to participate in this program. The only requirement is that you must be a valid 501(c)3 organization and provide service(s) to the Peoria and/or Tazewell Illinois LGBT community.
